Data protection declaration
Höfelmeyer Waagen GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. In the following we would like to inform you about the circumstances under which we collect information about you, what we do with it and to whom we may make it available to fulfil the purpose for which it was supplied.
We constantly strive to take technical and organizational security measures in accordance with the German federal data protection law (§9 BDSG) to protect your personal data from unintentional or illegal deletion, change or loss and to protect it from being passed on or accessed without proper authorization. Our staff are placed under a corresponding obligation to maintain confidentiality and to protect your data.
Our data security officer constantly checks the applicable terms of the German federal data protection law.
Personal data is information which concerns you. This includes specifications such as your correct name, address, postal address, phone number.
Passing on personal information to third parties
We only use your personal information within Höfelmeyer Waagen GmbH. Over and above that, in general we do not pass on your data to third parties. All persons who work with your data are bound to the federal data protection law and legal regulations. Insofar as we are legally obliged or compelled by a court order we will pass your data to authorities who are entitled to receive information.
As our web site is hosted by a provider, your visit to our web site will be logged. The current IP address of your computer, the selected web sites, your browser type, the date and time as well as your computer’s operating system will be recorded. This information is only collected for data security purposes. This information will not be used for any other purposes.
We only save personal data that you send to us as long as it is needed to fulfil the purpose for which it was submitted, or as long as the law requires us to do so.
