The weighing systems are used for the intermediate storage, handling and dosing of liquid substances in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, for example. They are made up of a base frame made of stainless steel and one or more weighing bridges. The containers are simply positioned on the station using pallet trucks or forklifts. These are tipped by gas springs as soon as a certain weight has been reached. Depending on the requirement, the liquid media are removed manually or through automatic control.
The IBC weighing systems are available as 1, 2 and 3 unit stations. A larger number of slots can be achieved by combining them. There are storage areas for further IBCs below the frame. This design allows optimum use of space and fast container changeover. Production downtimes are thus avoided.
